West Ham boss David Moyes requests extra £50million for players – report
West Ham are looking to Czech Republic shareholder Daniel Kretinsky for more money to spend in the summer transfer window, according to reports by Claret & Hugh.
David Moyes has already been afforded the war chest of £100million for signings at the end of the season.
However, the report indicates the Hammers would like an extra £50million added to their budget with more funds likely to be needed to acquire all of their targets.

The extra fee they have asked for will be determined by how much revenue is gained from departures and given the size of the squad, selling players is “improbable”.
The manager has outlined several key areas that need strengthening in the summer including a left-back, striker and several midfielders.
Boost.
West Ham having as much money as possible available to spend in the transfer window is only a good thing – as long as it is spent wisely.
The Irons are at a crossroads where they are in the market for players they wouldn’t have dreamt of signing previously and that needs to be remembered as they look to improve on this season.

They simply can’t afford to sign players who aren’t going to improve the squad and play a role in the team – building on the momentum gained this season is crucial.
Kretinsky should fork up the extra £50million that Moyes is asking for. The Czech has surely seen the brilliant job the Scot has done with very limited resources so imagine what he could do with the chief’s full backing.
The Irons have gone quite far in all competitions this season which is a huge achievement, the only thing that has ultimately let them down is the size and strength of their squad.
If they make the right moves in the summer, the is no reason why the east Londoners can’t finish next season with some silverware or Champions League football which they so devastatingly missed out on this year.
