West Ham battle Southampton to sign Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski
West Ham are one of the clubs reportedly showing interest in Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski.
According to a report from Corriere Fiorentino (22 April, page 11), the 24-year-old is ready to leave the club and he is set to bid farewell.
The Hammers are likely to face competition from Southampton, Bournemouth and Tottenham.

No need
The goalkeeper picked up a hamstring in October and he wasn’t available till January.
Despite starting as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper at the start of the season, he has now dropped down the pecking order.
Fiorentina are ready to evaluate offers for him in the summer and there is a high chance that he could leave.
The Hammers do need a squad shake-up in the summer, and Moyes needs to add new players.
However, do they need to sign another goalkeeper?

Lukasz Fabianski is set to continue at the club and he will be offered a new deal.
If the Hammers can get another loan deal for Alphonso Areola in the summer, they probably won’t require another goalkeeper.
The money could be used elsewhere. He has a contract at the Italian club till 2024, which means the Hammers can get him at a bargain price.
The fact that the Polish international is keen to leave will generate a lot of attention among clubs. Southampton appear to be genuinely interested at the moment, but in transfer windows, anything can happen.
