West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur offered chance to sign Brazilian attacker Tete
West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Shakhtar Donetsk Tete in the January transfer window.
According to 90 Min [23 December], it is still unclear if any of the three aforementioned English clubs will be willing to meet the demands of the Brazilian winger who is now on loan at Lyon.
Newcastle are another team that have been made aware of the 22-year-old’s availability on loan this winter.
Worth exploring
West Ham certainly need to sign an attacking midfielder or a wide attacker this summer and Tete can play in both roles for them.
Thus far, he’s bagged 31 goals in 108 appearances for Shakhtar prior to his departure to France, and he’s also played for Brazil at the Under-20 and Under-23 levels.

Signing him on loan will be a low-risk move in January as they will not have to pay a big transfer fee for someone with huge potential.
Spurs and Arsenal are also interested and may offer him a better deal as he can play Champions League football or challenge for the Premier League title.
However, the Hammers hierarchy must keep tabs on the 22-year-old as he could be interested in moving to the London Stadium if neither of the two sides show any further interest.
It’s understood that West Ham have already finalised notes over this deal so it does seem like they’re serious about getting this one over the line.
