West Ham add David Moyes son to recruitment team
West Ham have added manager David Moyes’ son, also named David, to their recruitment team, according to The Athletic’s Roshane Thomas.
The Hammers have looked to shake up their recruitment department and recently added a new head of recruitment Rob Newman from Manchester City.
Marc Rochon also joined the club as a video analyst and now Moyes Jr. has been added to the backroom staff.

Making moves
The Hammers are looking to move in the right direction and ensure that last season was not a one-off so it is important to make such additions.
Recruitment under Moyes has been pretty impeccable over the last 18-24 months and we’re hoping that it continues.
The fact that the club have sanctioned a move for his son suggests that they trust him unconditionally and his stock behind-the-scenes at the London Stadium is currently at an all-time high.
Even this summer, recruitment looked like it wasn’t good enough as major signings had not been made until the business end.

However, the arrival of Kurt Zouma, Alex Kral and Nikola Vlasic in the final week was enough to strengthen the side and keep the fans happy.
We’re hoping that a striker comes through the door in January as relying on Michail Antonio’s fitness is a risky proposition.
The Jamaica international is on the wrong side of 30 and has had injury concerns in the past, so a replacement is the need of the hour.
