West Ham ace Mohammed Kudus issues Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane Euro 2024 prediction
West Ham attacker Mohammed Kudus has been left gushing over Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane in his Euro 2024 prediction.
When asked who he thinks will end the tournament as the top goal scorer, he named the former Tottenham Hotspur forward.
England open their Euro 2024 campaign against Serbia on Sunday, 16 June.
He said, in a video shared by the club’s Twitter handle: “Top goal scorer. I’ll go for Harry Kane. Class finisher.”
Mohammed Kudus can become the player West Ham are built around
Julen Lopetegui should build this Hammers side around Kudus due to the Ghanaian’s impressive debut season and his potential to thrive under the Spaniard’s tactical approach.
Kudus has shown his versatility and goal-scoring ability, netting 14 times across all competitions, second only to Jarrod Bowen at West Ham.
Lopetegui is expected to implement a 4-3-3 system, which could benefit the attacker by giving him more freedom to operate in the spaces between the opposition’s midfield and defence.
Kudus’ ability to take on defenders and reduce their numbers in attack could be a significant asset in Lopetegui’s system, which emphasises a higher defensive line and creative players operating in the half-spaces.
Furthermore, Kudus’ age (23) suggests he still has room to grow and develop, making him an ideal player for Lopetegui to build around.
His performances have already caught the eye of pundits and fans alike, with some suggesting he could be a key player for the Irons next season.
In other West Ham news, a £33.7m update has emerged as the Hammers have made contact to sign the best dribbler in a top 5 European league this summer.
