West Ham ace Michael Antonio mocks Will Smith after Oscars drama

West Ham striker Michail Antonio has mocked Will Smith with his hilarious social media post mocking the American actor on his 32nd birthday.

This year’s Oscars awards sparked worldwide debate as Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock after he made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

The Irons forward took to Instagram to shed light on the situation as he photoshopped his face onto Rocks’ body with the 32 representing his birthday slapping him.

He said: “32 hits you hard! Thanks for the messages people”

Back to business

This was very amusing from Antonio. Not many footballers would touch on controversial topics, especially in this way, but that is the best thing about the striker.

He is a very outspoken person who doesn’t shy away from speaking his mind or in this case making a joke without caring about the backlash.

It might be the case of him getting bored as his couple of weeks of break without a game near a close.

West Ham

The 32-year-old didn’t travel with Jamaica for their latest round of fixtures and West Ham and David Moyes will hugely benefit from that.

As well known, Antonio has led the Hammers’ attack by himself all season long. At times his form has dropped due to the workload which has found him under much scrutiny.

There are no excuses now for the forwards as the Irons look to round off this very impressive season.

He should be raring to go with massive games in the Europa League quarter-finals, which should be the Irons’ top priority, on the horizon.
