West Ham ace Kurt Zouma to be dropped for France – report
Didier Deschamps is planning on dropping West Ham defender Kurt Zouma for France’s next round of fixtures, according to ESPN.
The 2018 World Cup champions face Ivory Coast and South Africa in two friendlies at the end of March.
France’s head coach said he was ‘shocked with the centre-back’s behaviour, labelling it ‘unacceptable’.

Right call
At least someone can read the room.
Deschamps is a manager who has frequently shown he isn’t scared of making the tough decisions having made so many of them in his career.
Undoubtedly the French Football Federation would have had the same view, making his decision easier but he needs to be given credit for something West Ham and David Moyes were too scared to do.
Unfortunately, the club, including Moyes have gone down in my estimation thanks to their embarrassing handling of the situation.

The fact he was allowed to play the same day as the video went viral was nothing short of laughable and the subsequent handling of the situation hasn’t covered the Hammers in glory.
It’s obvious as to why though. France have absolutely nothing to lose by dropping Zouma whereas the Irons have everything.
The Irons are competing on three out of four fronts for the remainder of the season with every result absolutely crucial. Moyes and co simply can’t afford to live without the Frenchman as the ramifications could be fatal.
France and Deschamps on the other hand will simply select an equally talented player to play in their friendlies instead.
