West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen needs England call up – Teddy Sheringham
Teddy Sheringham has called for Marcus Rashford to be dropped from the England squad to make room for West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen.
The former Hull City man has been the Hammers best player this season with 23 goal involvements in all competitions.
Bowen has been highly mooted for a place in the Three Lions squad with the 2022 World Cup set to take place at the end of the year.

Sheringham told Lord Ping as cited by football.london: “Rashford is having a tough time at the moment, he can’t get in the Manchester United team and Jarrod Bowen has been on fire, scoring goals and making goals.
“There’s a case for him being picked in the England squad with Rashford coming out if you’re doing it on recent form. There is a chance that will happen.”
No brainer
Bowen should be nailed on for a place in the next England squad. He has had the best season out of any English attacker by far.
Raheem Sterling, Rashford, Jack Grealish, Jadon Sancho and Jesse Lingard are the other attacking options that come to mind and not one has produced the numbers or reached the performance levels of the Irons maestro this season.
If Gareth Southgate genuinely does what he loves to claim so often, pick players based on form alone, it is a no brainer.

He needs to be included in as many England squads as possible in the run up to the World Cup if he has any chance of being selected for that which would be huge for him and the club.
Much like Declan Rice, the winger’s stock would skyrocket if he featured in a major tournament which only bodes well for the Hammers should he depart from the London Stadium.
He has to be selected, there is no doubt about that. Give the 25-year-old his chance to shine on an international stage, he has earned that much at least.
