'Unreal' - These West Ham fans rave over one player v Southampton

The West Ham United supporters have been calling for playmaker Pablo Fornals to get more playing time for a long, long while now.

The Spain international was arguably the team’s most in-form player in those worrisome late days of former manager Manuel Pellegrini.

After a tough start, it appeared that the former Villarreal man was just starting to come into his own in English football.

However, he then underwent a period of slight shunning by Pellegrini’s replacement David Moyes.

The Scot simply hasn’t appeared to fancy the 24-year-old, limiting him to just a handful of starts in the year 2020.

However, he was finally included from the beginning once again in the Hammers’ 3-1 victory over Southampton on Saturday.

The playmaker had a near-instant impact, playing a beautifully-weighted pass through for January signing Jarrod Bowen to open his account for the club.

The finish from the former Hull City man was sublime, but Fornals’ ball into him was equally superb.

The Spaniard went one better in the second half, chipping a delightful pass over the top for Michail Antonio to score the hosts’ third at the London Stadium.

The Irons supporters certainly enjoyed what they saw from Fornals on Saturday, with one of them labelling him ‘unreal’.
