Two Bundesliga clubs lining up offers as West Ham set to lose Ngakia – report
West Ham United defender Jeremy Ngakia is weighing up a couple of offers from Bundesliga clubs, according to the Telegraph.
The newspaper suggests that Ngakia could follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho to earn more first-team football next season.
David Moyes has already come out and admitted that he believes the 19-year-old is making a mistake by leaving the London Stadium.
The Telegraph has reported that Ngakia has refused a short-term extension for this season, and is free to leave East London at the end of June.
A move to Germany is set to give the young English prospect a clearer path to regular first-team football.
As well as two Bundesliga clubs, there are a couple of Premier League clubs also ready to make an offer for his services after he broke through the ranks with the Hammers this season.
Ngakia made his breakthrough at the London Stadium this season, making four appearances – including home and away at Liverpool.
The 19-year-old impressed as well, making five tackles and three interceptions in the 3-2 defeat at Anfield [WhoScored] – not bad for an untested defender.
Looking at the options available to Ngakia, West Ham would certainly prefer the youngster to go to the Bundesliga rather than another Premier League side.
In other West Ham United news, a reliable club source has claimed there is no chance of Irons mainstay leaving the club
