Troy Deeney predicts West Ham United v Everton score, two players to cause ‘damage’ at Goodison
Troy Deeney has predicted West Ham to beat Everton when the two sides go head-to-head on Saturday (2 March).
In a video posted on his personal TikTok account on Friday (1 March), the pundit said he loves both David Moyes and Sean Dyche, but he believes the Hammers will secure a 3-1 victory.
Despite admitting that they are both “bad teams”, he expects the Irons to hit the Toffees on the counterattack, with Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus “doing the damage” at Goodison Park.
“I love Dyche, my guy, love David Moyes,” said Deeney. “That’s two bad teams there. I’m going to go 1-3. I feel like West Ham are going to hit them on the counterattack. Jarrod Bowen and Kudus doing the damage.”
West Ham need to back up Brentford win against Everton
It was a much-improved performance from West Ham when they saw off Brentford 4-2 at the London Stadium on 26 February.
The Hammers had been in dismal form heading into that game, with David Moyes coming under fire and his position as manager being brought into question again.
Although the three points against the Bees will have helped his cause, the Scotsman will know they must now back it up with another strong display against his old club.

Everton have had a strange season themselves, but after seeing their 10-point deduction for breaching the Premier League’s spending rules reduced to six, they will be well up for this game.
The likes of Kudus and Bowen, who scored a hattrick on Monday, will be crucial in deciding whether or not their side comes away from Goodison with a result.
