Trevor Sinclair showers praise on David Moyes after West Ham 2-0 v Rapid Vienna
West Ham United continued their impressive start to 2021-22 with a 2-0 win over Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The London Stadium was hosting its first-ever group game in any European competition, and the fans would have been delighted with the performance their side put in.
Declan Rice scored for the second Europa League game in a row before Said Benrahma’s late strike put the game to bed and sent the Hammers top of Group H.
Trevor Sinclair enjoyed the game, and he has showered praise on David Moyes for turning West Ham players into machines.
The Hammers hero reacted on his personal Twitter account after the game.
He said: “Very good performance and win for the Hammers.
“Moyes has helped turn a lot of technical players into athletes & proper players now.”
Top manager
West Ham are proving that last season’s sixth-placed finish in the Premier League is not a fluke, and this team can surpass expectations again this term.
They were battling relegation just a couple of months ago, but are now challenging across all competitions, with a place in the knockout stages of the Europa League almost guaranteed.
Following two wins from two, West Ham are three points clear at the top of their group after Genk were comfortably beaten at home by Dinamo Zagreb.
Having secured a comfortable 2-0 win over the Croatians on the opening day of the campaign, the Irons should not have any problem picking up all three points against the Belgian outfit and progressing to the round-of-32 as leaders.
Everyone is improving under Moyes, but he is not getting enough plaudits for the great job he is currently doing at the club and he deserves more.
In other West Ham news, Mark Noble has been spotted after a match embracing magic forward who quit Hammers in summer.
