Transfer offer on the table for West Ham United and Everton target Sheraldo Becker

There reportedly has been a concrete offer made for Union Berlin attacker Sheraldo Becker amid links to West Ham and Everton.

According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, it is unclear as to which club has tabled the bid for the 27-year-old but the interest appears to be genuine.

The Suriname international has 15 goals + assists this campaign in all competitions which has put him on the radar of Premier League sides.

Via Twitter, Falk wrote, “West Ham & Everton interested in 15 goal contribution Bundesliga attacker Sheraldo Becker. concrete offer made.”

Good option

West Ham are all but certainly going to be looking at wide attackers over the summer and it’s good to see the plans starting in February.

They’re often accused of waiting too late in the day in the transfer market so this will give them time to properly assess the strengths and weaknesses of Becker.

He’s undoubtedly a quality attacking player who’s starting to prove himself at Union after a couple of relatively quiet seasons.

West Ham

It’s important not to go on the performances of one season so the Hammers need to do their due diligence before opting in to secure his services.

If they’re getting the right price, they should go ahead with it and beating Everton to his services should not be too much of a bother given the fact that they could even get relegated.

There are talks about a legitimate interest in Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips as well and the sale of Declan Rice can facilitate the Hammers signing him along with Becker.
