Tomas Soucek on Galatasaray wish list, club also want West Ham United target James Ward-Prowse
Galatasaray are interested in signing Tomas Soucek and West Ham target James Ward-Prowse, according to Haberturk.
The Turkish news outlet reported on 24 July that the Super Lig club are eyeing a move for the Czech Republic international as they want to sign a new midfielder “as soon as possible”.
Alongside the 28-year-old, the Turkish champions are also tracking Southampton captain Ward-Prowse, who the Hammers have also been heavily linked with this summer.

Interesting dynamic
The report details that Galatasaray have added a number of options to their wish list as they are desperate to land a new midfielder.
If they do decide to make a move for Soucek or Ward-Prowse, that could have a massive impact on West Ham’s transfer plans ahead of the new season.
The opportunity to join a team that has just won its domestic league and will be competing in the Champions League could be an interesting proposition for both of the midfielders.
David Moyes would probably like to have the pair at the London Stadium playing together next season, but that could be tricky to pull off due to the ongoing speculation.

If the Hammers are to consider an offer for Soucek, we should be looking to receive a substantial fee given that he still has two years left on his contract.
There are sure to plenty of twists and turns as the transfer window continues and this could be a situation to keep an eye on.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have made a £43million bid for a defensive midfielder.
