Tim Sherwood issues David Moyes sack admission at West Ham United
Tim Sherwood believes that David Moyes will be leaving West Ham amid the chaos behind the scenes surrounding Tim Steidten.
The former Tottenham manager believes that Steidten not being allowed into the dressing room is not a pleasing thing and suggests everything is not right at the club.
He also believes that Moyes is not being treated well in his final few weeks but also admits the fans have a right to voice their frustrations.
Speaking on Premier League’s Weekend Wrap, Sherwood said (5 May, 21:03): “He’s done a brilliant job. He’s not going to stay there, let’s be honest about it. The sporting director was not reportedly allowed inside the dressing room.
“I think it’s sad to see that behind the scenes but that’s the nature of the game. People say ‘Careful what you wish for’ but I’ve never paid money to watch this side play so the fans are entitled to their opinion.”
West Ham have not handled David Moyes’ sack properly
Sacking Moyes was seen as essential for the Hammers due to a combination of factors.
The team’s performance, especially in the Premier League, and a lack of consistent results contributed to the decision.
However, the manner in which the club have gone about this process has been criticized for its lack of class and respect towards Moyes.
West Ham’s board has been accused of hanging Moyes out to dry, with public discussions about his replacement and the lack of a proper send-off highlighting a lack of dignity and foresight.
This approach has not only been disrespectful to Moyes, who has managed the club through some of its most significant achievements in recent years, but it also reflects poorly on the club’s ownership and management.

Moyes, despite the challenges, managed to bring a trophy to the London Stadium and consistently led the team to top-half finishes in the Premier League.
He deserved acknowledgement and a respectful send-off, which has not been provided.
In other West Ham news, a £10m release clause claim has emerged as the Hammers have been given a chance to hire an ‘Elite’ manager.
