Tim Sherwood frustrated as David Sullivan told what needs to be done at West Ham
West Ham have been a hot topic recently, but for all the wrong reasons.
After West Ham’s 2-0 defeat to Brentford, the Hammers have been hammered by pundits, former players, and more.
Tony Cottee couldn’t believe West Ham’s lineup against Brentford on Monday night, as Nuno Espirito Santo faces the biggest challenge of his career at the London Stadium.
Jamie Carragher labelled West Ham the “slowest” team he’s seen in the Premier League this season, and now Tim Sherwood has had his say.

Tim Sherwood fears Nuno will not get support needed from West Ham board
West Ham currently sit 19th in the Premier League table, with all three promoted sides from the Championship currently outperforming the Hammers.
While speaking on Sky Sports News on Wednesday, Sherwood claimed that the ownership at West Ham is not good enough, and suggested Nuno will struggle without the required support from David Sullivan.
Sherwood said: “The ownership won’t change, but what they need to do is employ some people in the recruitment [team] that are going to give the manager the tools to work with to please their fanbase, which is second to none.
“It’s not good enough, it really isn’t. I get frustrated just watching and talking about them.”
West Ham have Leeds next in the Premier League, and a loss in that game would further point towards a harsh reality that the Hammers are facing.
Nuno needs a big win, but Elland Road will prove to be a tough test.
West Ham could be headed for Championship as 100-year record falls
The defeat to Brentford broke a nearly 100-year record that fans thought was gone for good.
Wins | Draws | Losses |
0 | 1 | 2 |
West Ham have lost five home league games in a row for the first time since 1931.
The London Stadium has been a big part of the disconnect that Hammers fans have felt with their club since moving from Upton Park.
Nuno’s side has only managed to win once in the Premier League all season, and even then, the victory came away from the London Stadium, under the now-sacked Graham Potter.
Hammers fans will continue their protest against Sullivan, as for the first time in a long time, West Ham look destined for the Championship.
