Supercomputer predicts what’ll happen in Everton vs West Ham United
West Ham are off to a terrible start in the Premier League with just one win in five games.
Graham Potter’s job at West Ham appears to be on the line for their next fixture against Everton on Monday at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Hammers will be hoping to shut up shop against Everton, having already conceded 13 goals this season, including seven from corners.
Monday’s opposing manager and former West Ham boss David Moyes could put Potter to the sword, as the Toffees look to return to winning ways.

West Ham have 23.1% chance of beating Everton
West Ham’s defensive fragility is a key reason why the Toffees will go into this fixture as the favourites to pick up all three points.
Opta Analyst’s supercomputer predicts that Everton have a 52.8 per cent chance of winning, whilst the Irons are given a slim 23.1 per cent chance of victory.
- West Ham have conceded the most in the Premier League with 13
- David Sullivan has been eyeing potential replacements for Potter since the defeat to Tottenham
- Fans were again seen pouring out of the stadium in the 2-1 defeat to Palace
With a draw predicted at 24.1 per cent, Potter will be fighting to save his job and build some momentum ahead of a crucial period that could define the trajectory of their season.
Last season, both of the Hammers’ games against the Toffees ended in stalemates, with Tomas Soucek and Jake O’Brien scoring the only goals from the fixture in March.
West Ham will be hoping to claim their second away win of the season, and they may have to make some wholesale changes to get them back on track.
Soungoutou Magassa and Igor Julio to finally start for West Ham
West Ham has been eyeing Nuno Espirito Santos as a potential replacement for Potter, should the Hammers’ poor form continue.
Should the 50-year-old continue to start James Ward-Prowse in midfield, his exit will be inevitable.
Ward-Prowse was poor for West Ham against Crystal Palace, and has shown all season that he lacks energy and fight.
Instead, Soungoutou Magassa should be given his first start.
The France international struggled against the Eagles off the bench, but still showed that he has more ability than his fellow midfielders, and deserves an opportunity from the start against Everton.
West Ham also continue to concede from corners, and Igor Julio would add some much-needed physicality in the box.
Max Kilman was at fault for the first goal against Palace, and has been below par in recent weeks.
No matter what, Potter simply needs all three points.
