Stelling expects another Wolves player to leave, intrigued to see him at West Ham
West Ham United fans will be hoping to see the club active in the transfer window this summer.
Graham Potter got his side playing better toward the back end of this season, but it’s widely agreed that new transfers are needed to get the Hammers scaling the table next year.
It’s been a quiet start to the window so far, although there isn’t a shortage of exciting players connected with a move to the London Stadium.

Nelson Semedo linked with move to West Ham
The likes of Jack Grealish and Angel Gomes have been linked with moves to East London, although there have been no signs of official bids yet.
These are two examples of exciting young attackers who would add more of a goal threat to the Hammers’ play.
But, speaking on talkSPORT (13 June), Jeff Stelling added some fuel to the rumours that Wolves defender Nelson Semedo could also be targeted for a transfer.
He said: “There’s a four-year offer on the table for him, but I think he may be on his way. Maybe to Saudi Arabia, I’m afraid.
“But I tell you what, West Ham would be an interesting choice. You’d have [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka bombing down one side, Semedo on the other.”
West Ham were linked with a move with Semedo back in 2023 when David Moyes was still in charge, although nothing came of it back then.
However, he could now be available to move to East London on a free transfer, since his Wolves contract expires at the end of June.
The 31-year-old is the first-choice right back for Portugal, and can be equally useful in attack and defence.
Semedo could be a useful signing for Hammers
Wolves are having a sad start to the transfer window, having sold two key players in Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
The remaining star players might see this as a lack of ambition and want to secure exits of their own, so West Ham would be smart to keep an eye on Semedo during this window.
He was a key figure in Portugal’s Nations League victory this month, having started both the semi-final and the final.
Despite being offered a new contract by Wolves, there is no hint of him being willing to sign it.

Stelling’s vision of Semedo on one side and Wan-Bissaka on the other is a strange shout, as neither have shown evidence of being comfortable playing on the left.
Still, the Portuguese could provide some competition for Wan-Bissaka on the right-hand side.
