Stan Collymore predicts result of West Ham v Wolves

West Ham will take on Wolves in a crucial Premier League game on Sunday (27 February) at the London Stadium.

The Hammers are struggling for form and have managed two draws in their last two games. Stan Collymore doesn’t see an upturn in form and has predicted a 2-2 draw for this game.

Wolves have picked up five wins from their last seven Premier League games, but they are heading into this match on the back of a 2-1 defeat against Arsenal.

West Ham

Collymore wrote for The People (27 February; page 58): “Entertaining game. Wolves finding their feet under Bruno Lage, West Ham are confronted with a run-in – now we’ll see what kind of quality and bottle they have really got.”

Must win

This is a must-win game for the Hammers, and they have to find a way to beat Wolves.

The top-four race is heating up and the Hammers must stay in touch with other rivals as we gradually approach the business end of the season.

Their form in recent games have been below-par, and David Moyes has got a big task to fix it.

West Ham

West Ham will be without Vladimir Coufal for this game after he has undergone surgery to cure his hernia. Likewise, Ryan Fredericks is also absent with a groin injury.

Ben Johnson is likely to get a run in the side. However, the main problem for the Hammers doesn’t lie at the back.

They are struggling to score enough goals, with Michail Antonio going through a poor run of form.

Luckily for Moyes, Jarrod Bowen has stepped up, and he has been outstanding in recent months. His goals and assists have kept West Ham still in the race for the top-four.

Wolves are very strong at the back, and a massive collective effort is needed to secure all three points on Sunday.

In other West Ham news, this senior player has picked up yet another injury ahead of tomorrow’s clash.
