Source speaks out as West Ham United midfielder James Ward-Prowse injury scare v Manchester City
A source has West Ham has spoken out and refused to get into the details of James Ward-Prowse ahead of the Manchester City clash, according to Claret and Hugh.
The news outlet reported on Wednesday (6 September) that any update on the England international would give the opponents an unfair advantage.
This comes after claims that he was set to undergo a scan on Wednesday to check the severity of the setback.
The source said, “It’s not information we want to give away as despite our match being until after the international break, it can only help our opponents to release too many details.”

Ward-Prowse has already become a key player for the Hammers despite only moving to the London Stadium this summer.
Removing him from the side would alter the way that the team plays and Pep Guardiola is the best tactician in the world so will look to capitalise on that.
It’s best if fans are kept in the dark too as what matters is the performance on the field of play for the Hammers.
Hopefully, the concern is not too grave and a few days’ rest will be good enough for him to return to action as soon as possible.
He does have the international break off so he can rest a few days and then conduct light training until the majority of the squad arrives.
