Sky Sports share David Sullivan reaction as West Ham United lose v Brentford with Moyes sack pressure enormous
West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan cut a “dejected” figure during the 2-0 loss to Brentford as further pressure fell on manager David Moyes, according to Sky Sports.
The Hammers produced yet another horrendous performance on Friday night (30 December), in what was their fifth straight loss and eleventh in just 17 Premier League games this season.
First-half goals from Ivan Toney and Josh Dasilva were enough to pile further misery on Moyes, who could reportedly be sacked before West Ham host Brentford again on January 7 following the dire run of form.

Reporting live from the stands of the London Stadium, Sky Sports’ Ben Grounds said: “West Ham co-owner David Sullivan is sat alongside his son Jack in the director’s box.
“Both cut dejected figures. It’s getting late now for a Hammers comeback.”

From bad to worse
If Moyes thought a home tie against Brentford was the perfect opportunity to prove his doubters wrong, he was greatly mistaken.
Brentford were a side brimming with confidence after holding on for a 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Boxing Day, and after weathering an early West Ham storm, took the ascendancy in the match.
Moyes would have been tearing his hair out at the schoolboy defending he witnessed from his side, as a long throw from Mathias Jensen unlocked their defence after 25 minutes before Aaron Cresswell’s clanger allowed Josh Dasilva to double the lead.
The pressure on the Scot has reached billing point, and Sullivan will surely now be holding some crisis talks as West Ham United creep ever closer to the relegation zone.
Although Sullivan has given Moyes every opportunity to reverse the team’s fortunes, surely now’s the time to finally cut ties with the Scot and look to get a fresh face into the club.
