Sky Sports pundit says West Ham star Bowen 'cannot do any wrong'

West Ham United’s man of the hour Jarrod Bowen scored yet again for West Ham against Leeds United to take his tally to six for the season.

The 25-year-old stooped in to head home Aaron Cresswell’s out-swinging corner to level the scores at 1-1 to keep his rich vein of form on track.

On Sky Sports’ commentary, Alan Smith couldn’t help but hail the Englishman who has lit up the Premier League in recent weeks.

“It is a clever bit of movement from Bowen and his man just does not stay with him,” Smith said.

“A second header is space of a few days for a player who just cannot do any wrong at the moment.”

If Bowen keeps up this kind of form, he might not only break into Gareth Southgate’s squad but command a place in the starting 11.

No English player is in such a run of form in both creating and scoring goals as he is and no player has been as exciting either.

March’s international break is rapidly approaching and it looks more and more difficult for Southgate to leave him out of the reckoning.

Even if Manchester United duo Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford were in better form than they have been, Bowen’s individual brilliance would still warrant a call up over the Red Devils pair.

His link-up play with his West Ham teammates is another string to his bow and he could really fit in with some of England’s star attackers.

In other West Ham news, this Hammer has stated his intention to retire at West Ham.
