Simon Jordan: West Ham have tools to overcome Europa League deficit v Eintracht Frankfurt

Simon Jordan believes that West Ham can turn things around against Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany this evening (May 5).

The Hammers are facing a one-goal deficit after losing the first leg 2-1 at the London Stadium last week.

They will certainly be all guns blazing but will have to get the job done away from home in a foreign country.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan said, “From what I’ve seen of them, West Ham have the setup to overcome Frankfurt. They have got key components like Antonio, Rice, and good dead-ball deliveries.

“You hope Bowen, Fornals will add a bit of gold dust. They may have to suffer but opportunities come and I fancy them [to win].

“It’s a really good group of players and a good manager. A very good redemption story.”

Winning this

Declan Rice has been sensational in big games when the pressure is on the club.

The Hammers midfielder has been a standout performer and we expect him to have a big say in the game later today.

Goals are certainly an issue and Michail Antonio really has not been getting the numbers that many thought he would.

Jarrod Bowen also appears wanting for form of late and it remains to be seen if the two can step up to the party.

Moyes will certainly have a game plan for this one as the one in London clearly did not work.

The Hammers failed to impose themselves and they cannot afford to make the same mistakes again.

In other West Ham news, a football finance expert has made a mammoth £200m Hammers claim amid recent speculation.
