Simon Jordan predicts West Ham United v Liverpool after Arsenal result

Simon Jordan believes that the West Ham v Liverpool contest will be a close one as they managed to secure a 3-1 victory over Arsenal.

The Hammers hosted the Gunners at the London Stadium and made it into the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup.

They will now face Liverpool at Anfield, a game that Jordan sees Jurgen Klopp’s side winning.

He told talkSPORT on 2 November at 10:45 am, “It’s not a given but if I was to pick a team it would be Liverpool. These are cracking games and all have something riding on them.”

Tough one

Facing Liverpool is never an easy game as they’ve got world class players in every position and one of the best managers in the world.

However, that’s the beauty of the cup and the Hammers have thrived because of their underdogs moniker to get the job done.

West Ham

They’ve become a very good side without the ball as Moyes has coached them perfectly to play on the counterattack.

It’s still not going to be easy beating Liverpool but the Hammers fans should be optimistic that they will be in the game for a long time and get a few chances on the break.

Anfield has not been the fortress of late in comparison to what it once was and that should give Moyes some motivation.

A win there, undoubtedly will see West Ham put their eyes on the trophy as the other sides are either as good or worse than them this season.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers are now frustrated with a £10m player as a behind-the-scenes revelation has emerged from the London Stadium.
