Simon Jordan can’t hold back the laughter after West Ham footage he’s shown on air
Simon Jordan couldn’t help but laugh at a social media faux pas from David Sullivan’s fiancée.
West Ham fell to a 3-0 loss to Manchester City last time out, with that their 10th defeat of the season already.
It was a result that heightened West Ham fears of Premier League relegation, as the pressure continues to rise on Nuno Espirito Santo.

Simon Jordan questions Ampika Pickston’s judgement after Man City post
It’s been a fairly embarrassing week for West Ham United, both on and off the pitch.
Nuno’s pre-match press conference for Fulham was cut short after just two questions on Tuesday, leaving the Hammers boss with very little opportunity to say anything other than the generic ‘need to improve’ comment for those watching online.
However, that wasn’t the most embarrassing West Ham moment from the past few days, with that award going to Sullivan’s fiancée, Ampika Pickston.

Pickston took to her personal Instagram account to congratulate Man City after thumping West Ham in the Premier League, writing: “You smashed it today, Man City.”
Understandably, this didn’t go down well with many Hammers supporters, and speaking on talkSPORT on Tuesday, pundit and former Crystal Palace owner Jordan also criticised Pickston’s actions.
“You have to question her choices on a number of fronts,” Jordan said regarding Pickston’s post, struggling to hold back his laughter.
“On this one, the judgement call of doing this, as the fiancée of a belaughed owner of a football club, is not the most advisable.”
West Ham must spare their blushes and Premier League status with favourable run of fixtures
The only way for West Ham to put these embarrassments behind them is to start winning football matches.
Thankfully, the Irons do have a fairly kind run of festive and New Year fixtures ahead of them, from which they must take full advantage of.
West Ham welcome an inconsistent Fulham side to the London Stadium on 27 December, with Marco Silva’s side winning two and losing two of their last four Premier League games.
Brighton will then come to town on 30 December, with the Seagulls currently without a win from their last four league games.
- West Ham have won just twice at home in the Premier League this season, losing six
- Only Wolves (37) have conceded more goals than the Hammers’ 35 this season
- West Ham’s top scorer is Jarrod Bowen with five
Clashes with Wolves and Nottingham Forest will open the New Year for West Ham, leaving them a kind handful of games over the next few weeks to put some much-needed points on the board.
