Simon Jordan and Jim White clash live on talkSPORT over West Ham United v Brighton

Simon Jordan and Jim White clashed live on air over their predictions for Tuesday’s West Ham United clash against Brighton in the Premier League.

The Hammers will be on the prowl for a fourth successive win in the Premier League when they take on the Seagulls at the London Stadium on Tuesday 2 January.

West Ham head into the game fresh off an impressive 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates on 28 December, while Brighton triumphed over Tottenham Hotspur on the same and providing their predictions live on talkSPORT (2 January 12:58 pm), Jordan and White ended up clashing over the result of the game.

White asked Jordan: “So who’s the winning manager tonight?”

Jordan responded by saying: “I’m going for a draw.

White instantly responded to Jordan’s prediction, saying “Oh come on, no!”

Jordan then claimed: I’m going draw. “They’ll cancel one another out.”

White provided his prediction claiming: “We shall see, I think Brighton will go there and win”, before Jordan quickly responded forefully saying: “They always do don’t they but then you’re a Brighton acolyte aren’t you?!”

Wow

It really must be a huge clash between these two teams if they have Jordan and White clashing over the possible result of the fixture live on air as they did.

Indeed, it is with West Ham United sitting three points above their opponents in the Premier League table and if Roberto de Zerbi’s men are to stay in touch with the European places, they desperately need a win.

West Ham

Both teams do have some notable absences in their ranks for the game though but it should not take away from what will be an intense and engrossing battle between two teams with differing styles.

Brighton will certainly look to impose themselves in possession but the Hammers’ threat on the counter will be clear for all to see.

However, they will have to do that without the likes of Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus which is a real blow for David Moyes and Jarrod Bowen who will be missing his trusted attacking partners.

Fringe players Said Benrahma, Pablo Fornals and Danny Ings have flattered to deceive all season long but will now be relied upon to deliver the goods for Moyes. Are they up to the task?

In other West Ham United news, the club has made a “100%” Moyes sack decision, with David Sullivan set to schedule a sit-down early next year.
