Plenty of West Ham fans have reacted to the performance of Sebastien Haller during their 1-0 win over Sheffield United, with the 26-year-old scoring a brilliant winner.

With the score tied at 0-0, the ball fell to the Ivory Coast international on the edge of the box and he finished emphatically into the top corner.

His all-around performance was much improved on recent weeks too, with the forward winning 12 aerial duels, taking four shots and completing two dribbles (via WhoScored).

With Michail Antonio closing in on a return to full fitness, this was ideal timing for Haller to find his best form and he should be in contention for a start in the Hammers’ next match at home to Aston Villa next Monday.

While Antonio has been used predominantly as a striker this season, he can also play wide, which would allow David Moyes to accommodate both players within this current system. However, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen were impressive once again and should continue to keep their place.

The other option Moyes has is to move away from the 3-4-3 formation that he has used since the opening day of the season in order to bring in an additional attacker. West Ham did not struggle to create at Bramall Lane though, managing 15 shots in total, with three on target and seven blocked (via WhoScored).

In reaction to his performance, one fan said that he deserved the goal after playing a good game, while another said his goal was the perfect way to answer his critics.
