Scotland fans mock West Ham star Declan Rice after England draw

West Ham star Declan Rice was mocked by Scotland fans after England’s 0-0 draw against Steve Clarke’s side at Wembley on Friday.

England’s pride took a huge blow as they put in a dreadful performance in the second match of their Euro 2020 campaign.

Rice, 22, didn’t have his best game for the Three Lions and when he was doing a post-match interview, a group of Scotland fans filmed themselves teasing him.

After mocking Tyrone Mings, the Tartan Army turned their attention to Rice and the video clip, which has over 230,000 views, shows them chanting: “You’re just a [swear] Billy Gilmour.

Expected

Fair play to Scotland.

They turned up on Friday night and were by far the better team.

Clarke’s men made more chances, defended well and looked as though they wanted it way more than England.

Gareth Southgate and his side were wretched with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford the only one who could say he played well for a save he made in the first half.

Rice was no better than any of Southgate’s outfield players and he was, annoyingly, made to look completely average by Chelsea and Scotland midfielder Gilmour.

He’s only just turned 20-years-old and is far less experienced than Rice but had a far better game.

We were just totally lifeless and devoid of ideas on Friday night, with the Three Kittens looking more as though they were happy for a point rather than all three.

The Czech Republic have looked good so far and we feel as though they could be a very tough match for England in the final group stage match.

Fortunately, four points is probably enough to qualify.

In other West Ham news, an English striker wanted by the Irons is up for grabs for just £8million now.
