Sam Matterface predicts West Ham Europa League qualification ahead of Manchester United
West Ham have been backed to secure Europa League qualification against Brighton by talkSPORT commentator Sam Matterface.
The Hammers know that a win over Brighton at the Amex and a Manchester United dropping points at Crystal Palace will see the Hammers secure Europa League qualification.
The Hammers have never beaten Brighton in the Premier League, but ITV lead commentator Matterface believes the Hammers will get a positive result.

Talking on the talkSPORT GameDay podcast (52:00), Matterface said: “I think West Ham are going to win and I don’t think Manchester United are and I think West Ham are going to take sixth place.
“There you go there’s my bold prediction for the weekend.”
Good chance for the Hammers
The Irons have a fantastic chance of securing Europa League football against the Seagulls.
Manchester United have been a disaster this season and their trip to Crystal Palace looks like a nightmare fixture for Ralf Rangnick’s side.
Palace can still secure a top ten place this season and Selhurst Park is always a tough place to go.
There is a good chance that the Eagles will do David Moyes’ side a favour but ultimately the Hammers need to pick up a positive result in Sussex.

It has been a long season for Moyes’ men but they desperately need to muster one more big performance against Graham Potter’s side.
A draw against City and a 4-0 win at Norwich see the Irons head into this fixture in good form.
Brighton will go into this game playing with plenty of freedom, which could give the Hammers opportunities on the counterattack.
Time for the Moyes’ men to put one last performance in.
In other West Ham news, a football finance expert has made a mammoth £200m Hammers claim amid recent speculation.
