Robbie Savage makes West Ham United v Man City score prediction, shares ‘unbelievable’ verdict
Robbie Savage has predicted Manchester City to beat West Ham when the sides meet on Saturday (16 September).
Speaking to football365 on Thursday (14 September), the pundit said it is “unbelievable” that the Hammers have only won two of the last 30 competitive games against the Premier League champions.
He added that it is a “kind of Super Cup” after both teams picked up silverware in Europe last season, with Erling Haaland to get on the scoresheet in a 2-0 victory for the Citizens at the London Stadium.

“West Ham haven’t beaten City in the league since 2015 and they’ve only won two of the last 30 competitive games against Man City which is unbelievable,” said Savage.
“Remember this game was very early on at the start of last season and Haaland got two goals. I think he will get another one here.
“But let’s be fair, this is a kind of Super Cup in the Premier League, with the champions of Europe in the Champions League and the champions of Europe in the Europa Conference League.
“I’m going to go with Haaland to get on the scoresheet in a Man City win. I’m going 2-0 Man City once again.”
Tough
It’s going to be an extremely tough game against Man City after they have won every game in the Premier League so far this season.
While West Ham have also had an unbeaten start, having picked up three wins in their opening four matches, this is by far their biggest test of the campaign.
The Hammers don’t have a great record against Pep Guardiola’s side and it’s going to be a game where they’re going to have to soak up a lot of pressure, with keeping Haaland quiet the order of the day.

It will provide David Moyes with a good indication of where his team are at following the outgoings over the summer and the new additions that were brought in.
The Irons fans will get right behind the players as they look to help the side pull off what would be a fantastic result and the side should be confident heading into the clash.
