Richard Keys wowed by what he’s seen from West Ham United, ‘Sir Bobby Moore would be proud’

Richard Keys has been left impressed by the new West Ham United home shirt that he thinks Bobby Moore would have loved.

The Hammers are preparing for the new Premier League campaign under Julen Lopetegui and have a fresh set of kits for the year.

Broadcaster, Keys has been wowed by the design which has been created to remember the 1960s.

Taking to X on 15 August, he said: “This is the best new season jersey I’ve seen. Absolute classic. Sir Bobby Moore would be proud.”

West Ham ready for the new Premier League season

The Hammers fans are growing in excitement ahead of their league opener against Aston Villa at the London Stadium.

With Lopetegui in as head coach and Tim Stediten taking charge of transfers, it is little wonder why supporters are happy with the summer they’ve had.

Adding in quality transfers like Crysencio Summerville, Jean-Clair Todibo and Max Kilman to their squad should help improve them.

They must now gel with the first team stars already at the club which could go one of two ways moving forward.

There are high hopes that the bedding in process can be successful quickly and give the Hammers the best chance of a positive campaign.

If the season does go well, it will be made all the more iconic by the shirts that they will be playing in which will be immortalised.

The home kit in particular is a great nod to Moore and fans will be hopeful their season can match up to his high standards.
