Richard Keys destroys Karren Brady regarding West Ham treatment of Kurt Zouma

Richard Keys has been vocal about the West Ham stance on Kurt Zouma and has targeted Karren Brady once again.

Writing in her Friday column for The Sun [11 February] Brady suggested that while everyone at the club condemns what Zouma has done, she values the ethos of forgiveness.

She has also insisted that the fine will be donated to the animal welfare charities to ensure some good is done, which she believes is the right thing to do.

West Ham

Zouma is available to play this weekend against Leicester City, and Keys is furious that he is still being considered for selection.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Keys has targeted both West Ham and Brady for the club’s treatment of Zouma.

“It is ridiculous for West Ham and Karren Brady to try to excuse Zouma,” wrote Keys on Twitter.

“No – it’s not like a driving offence. There are consequences for that – you get banned for a year. Zouma is still playing. He’ll earn another £250,000 in a fortnight. It’s a disgrace. He shouldn’t be playing.”

Lack of leadership

Moyes has given his side of the decision. He feels that the 27-year-old needs education and that he deserves forgiveness.

However, there’s a lack of leadership at the top who are failing to take action and in the process, they are merely giving tools for discussion.

West Ham should be delivering all the focus on match preparations and challenge for the top-four, and yet this constant finger-pointing and criticisms are dominating headlines.

A clear-cut direction from the board is lacking, and yet what Brady does is write a column piece that hasn’t helped anyone’s cause.

West Ham will take on Leicester City in the Premier League clash on Sunday (13 February) and it seems Zouma will play once again.

The Hammers are heading into this game on the back of a 1-0 win against Watford.
