Report: Arthur Masuaku could return for West Ham this season in Premier League

West Ham United defender Arthur Masuaku could still feature in the Premier League this season, according to Claret and Hugh.

The reliable club source have reported that the full-back is still one month away from being back out on the grass training as he continues his recovery.

It is suggested that it will take two months before a return to action after completing ankle surgery on a long-term problem.

Aaron Cresswell has covered the hole left by Masuaku expertly this season.

The 31-year-old has delivered five assists, with the wing-back role becoming a real weapon for the Irons during this campaign.

That has helped Masuaku too, who is better known for his attacking output rather than his defensive actions which is strange to say for a defender.

According to the report though, backroom and medical staff are confident that he will be back before May to offer strong competition.

Masuaku is currently the only player ruled out injured in the squad.

It will be a massive boost for the Irons and David Moyes to have a full-strength squad available to them for the final month of the campaign.

With European football a huge possibility in the Premier League this season, having different options could be something that gives them the advantage over other teams.

Masuaku had started 10 games before this blow, and this update gives us hope that he can add to that before the end of this current campaign.
