Reliable club source: West Ham ace injured, not out of favour with Moyes

ExWHUemployee has confirmed that West Ham United winger Andriy Yarmolenko is still struggling with an injury, keeping him out of action.

The reliable club source confirmed on his personal Twitter account on Sunday that the Ukrainian is missing with a problem, rather than being out of favour with manager David Moyes at the London Stadium.

Responding to a fan, ExWHUemployee simply delivered a two-word message to potentially put an end to any speculation surrounding the 30-year-old.

“Injured mate,” he wrote.

ExWHUemployee has previously suggested that the Hammers are considering offers for the Ukrainian international due to him not fitting in Moyes’ system.

Another reason was his mammoth £115,000-a-week wages [Spotrac] – the highest in the entire squad at the London Stadium.

It is strange that the reliable source suggested that it was just an injury that kept him out of the West Brom clash. It seems as if the problem could make it difficult for him to move away from east London.

Yarmolenko has struggled to consistently perform for the Hammers. He has only featured 24 times since the beginning of last season, and his injury troubles will be really concerning to David Moyes.

If he won’t be available consistently, there is no need for him to be at the club anymore. The only problem will be finding a club that will take Yarmolenko this week despite him having injury worries.
