Reliable club source claims West Ham trio could make return v Brentford

West Ham United will continue their preparation for the Premier League season on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers will look to pick up another win when they face Brentford on Saturday, with the Bees looking to bounce back from their disappointment in the Championship.

David Moyes’ men cruised to victories over both Wycombe and Ipswich, as he selected two separate squads.

A number of key faces were missing from those two squads, but they could return against Brentford.

Claret and Hugh have reported that Declan Rice, Lukasz Fabianski and Issa Diop could return from slight knocks to feature in the friendly.

According to the report, all three had been suffering from precautionary knocks and none are too serious.

Moyes is suggested to be being careful at Rush Green, with the Premier League season only two weeks away.

This would be great news for the Hammers.

Moyes will want his full-strength side available to him for the beginning of the Premier League season, none more so than Rice.

The holding midfielder has just been called up to the England squad for upcoming games against Iceland and Denmark and if he features in those, he will be more-than-fit for the opener against Newcastle.

Moyes may not risk Rice given that he has international games to play, but we can expect to see both Fabianski and Diop against Brentford.
