Ray Parlour predicts West Ham United v Arsenal scoreline live on talkSPORT
Ray Parlour has predicted Arsenal to beat West Ham when the two sides go head-to-head on Sunday (11 February).
Speaking on talkSPORT on Friday (9 February, 07:43am), the pundit said it’s a “massive game” for both teams and that the Hammers have been “brilliant” this season as they go in pursuit of their third victory over their London rivals during this campaign.
But after they saw off Liverpool 3-1 on 4 February, he believes the Gunners will claim a 2-0 win, with Gabriel Jesus getting on the scoresheet for his side at the London Stadium.
“It’s a massive game for both sides,” said Parlour. “West Ham have been brilliant this year. They got a great result at the Emirates, they beat Arsenal in the cup as well, so this could be a hat-trick of wins for West Ham over Arsenal.
“Arsenal have got to learn their lesson from last year when they went to the London Stadium. They were cruising when it was 2-0, they conceded and then they ended up dropping two points.
“But I can see Arsenal now after that win against Liverpool going to the London Stadium, winning the game. I’m going to go 2-0 Arsenal and I’ll go for Jesus [to score].”
Hard to call which way West Ham vs Arsenal will go
It’s hard to call which way this game will go as West Ham haven’t been in the best of form recently, but they have beaten Arsenal twice already this season.
The Gunners, however, have put an excellent run of victories together and they will now feel as though they have got themselves back into the Premier League title race following their success over Liverpool.
But after the 3-0 defeat against Manchester United on Sunday, the Hammers players will be looking to put things right and get back to winning ways against their London rivals.

It will be a big occasion for Declan Rice when he makes the trip back to the London Stadium, where he is likely to receive a positive reception from the vast majority of the Irons fans.
David Moyes will know his players have to be absolutely on it if we want to pick up a victory in this game to make it three wins in a row against Arsenal this season.
