PSG set £21million price tag on West Ham-linked defender Diallo

West Ham United now know exactly what they have to pay to sign Paris Saint Germain defender Abdou Diallo in January, according to 90min.com.

The 25-year-old has played 13 times in all competitions for the French giants this season but he is looking for more regular game time and West Ham could provide it.

David Moyes has been keen on signing a defender but whether he wants to pay the £21million PSG are asking for to sign Diallo is the all-important question.

All or nothing

As well as setting the price tag at £21million, PSG have also reportedly said he is not available for loan.

That makes things rather simple for Moyes who now has a simple, yes or no, decision to make.

No doubt the owners who make the deal happen will try to negotiate the price down for a player once described as “a modern and strong central defender who is very intelligent to boot,” by Borussia Dortmund Sporting Director Michael Zorc.

The reports on Diallo are all glowing in the Senegalese player’s favour as you would expect having played for Dortmund and PSG so far in his career.

The 25-year-old is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations with his national side which could slow down negotiations if West Ham makes a move for him.

It is still unknown if the player even wants to leave the French capital but given the lack of minutes he has had since Sergio Ramos joined the Parisiens, one might expect him to aim for a regular spot elsewhere.
