Paul Merson predicts result of West Ham United Premier League clash vs Fulham
Paul Merson has made his prediction for the Premier League clash between West Ham and Fulham at Craven Cottage this weekend.
The Hammers claimed a 2-1 win over Tottenham on Thursday night, while the Cottagers claimed a 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest in their last game leaving six points between the sides in the table.
And Merson, speaking to Sportskeeda (8 December) admitted that it’s a difficult call but believes Marco Silva’s side may have turned a corner and backed them to get the win over West Ham.

“This is a bit of a hard one to call,” he said.
“All of a sudden, Fulham have become a goal machine – who would have thought? Two months ago, they couldn’t score to save their lives, but they are on a bit of a mad one at the moment.
“They were very unlucky against Liverpool, but I think they’ve turned a corner and should get a win at Craven Cottage. Fulham 2-0 West Ham United.”
Overlooked
West Ham are constantly being overlooked this season and it’s hard to understand why, because this is our best start to a season in a very long time.
Many Hammers fans have been unhappy with the style of play this season but its hard to argue with the results that we’ve been getting, and we’re winning on the road a lot too.

Jarrod Bowen is on fire and has taken to his new role of playing as the centre-forward really well, while Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta are being allowed to have plenty of freedom with the base of James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez behind them.
This is a great squad and while Fulham are strong and in good form, so are we. This is definitely a game we can win and fans will be expecting a positive result too.
Merson’s predictions have been half decent recently, but fingers crossed we can prove him wrong on this occasion.
