Paqueta sends West Ham message after friendly win, Kilman reacts
West Ham found success in their first friendly of the season with a 3-1 victory over Swiss side Grasshopper.
Andy Irving, Callum Marshall and Lucas Paqueta were all on target in a comfortable win in Zurich, Switzerland.
It was the perfect start for Graham Potter, who has been under pressure at West Ham after struggling in the dugout last season.
Paqueta will also be pleased to get back on the scoresheet after a tough past year in England.

Paqueta pleased to get first friendly under his belt
Paqueta has no doubt struggled at West Ham over recent months.
The Brazilian was once one of the Hammers’ best players and shone week after week in the Premier League.
However, Paqueta’s ongoing trial with the FA has no doubt taken a toll on the midfielder.
Paqueta has even been linked away from West Ham in recent weeks, with rumours circulating that he could return to Brazil.

However, while his immediate future remains unclear, the Brazilian remains committed to West Ham and netted a late penalty against Grasshopper.
As a result, Paqueta took to Instagram (19 July) and posted a series of pictures of the game, with the caption: “First friendly of the season. Thank God always.”
Max Kilman was quick to react to this, as he liked the post.
West Ham need to build momentum in pre-season
Going into the new Premier League season, a good start is vital if West Ham are to avoid relegation.
Thankfully, the Hammers have an easier start to the campaign, which should see multiple wins.
However, momentum is key for this, and the best way to build it up is in pre-season.
Luckily, Potter has ensured that the Hammers have started well, and now this must continue into the US tour.
Hopefully, by the time 16 August comes around, West Ham’s squad will be fully confident of a victory against Sunderland on the opening weekend.
