Nuno Espirito Santo hints at fresh West Ham injuries as Niclas Fullkrug latest shared
Nuno Espirito Santo has shared an update on Niclas Fullkrug ahead of West Ham’s Premier League clash with Burnley on Saturday.
West Ham secured a brilliant 3-1 win over Newcastle last time out, and the Portuguese manager will be looking to continue the momentum.
The Turf Moor outfit are among West Ham’s rivals for the relegation zone, so the Hammers need another positive result on 8 November.
The likes of Ollie Scarles and George Earthy are out with injuries, and the German international’s status has also been revealed.

Nuno shares West Ham injury update ahead of Burnley
West Ham are expected to beat the Clarets, but that may hinge on who Nuno has available for selection for the contest.
Konstantinos Mavropanos and Niclas Fullkrug are potential absentees, and the boss spoke on their status for the London Stadium clash on Thursday, and hinted at fresh injuries.
In his pre-match press conference, he said: “Both of them improving, starting to work, Dinos [Mavropanos] is still individual work, Fullkrug has started progressing with the group, not all the parts of training.
“Now comes the international break, after that I think I am positive will be okay.”
“After a football match, there is always knocks, I cannot confirm it [who may be out] and I do not want to go much further than that if you understand.”

West Ham need Callum Wilson to step up
Callum Wilson was brilliant against Newcastle, after struggling to win Nuno over when he originally came into the dugout.
The boss needs to persist with the veteran to lead the line, as he has an excellent record against the Clarets.
- Wilson has made eight appearances since joining on a free transfer
- He has scored one goal in those matches
- That came in the 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest
Wilson has scored seven goals in his career against Saturday’s opposition, with six strikes in his last four appearances against them.
That bodes well for the Hammers, who are desperate to start picking up points and drag themselves away from the drop zone.
Wilson’s performances will be integral to their chances of survival, and he needs to stand up and be counted, and prove why the Irons were willing to take a gamble on him after his injury record last season.
The 33-year-old missed 29 matches last time out, but Graham Potter and Co. decided to take a risk of him.
Potter may be gone, but Wilson needs to show the E20 outfit why they were willing to sign him, despite the potential ramifications, if he failed to stay fit.
