Nikola Vlasic close to West Ham United exit as Torino move nears
Nikola Vlasic is close to sealing his West Ham United exit with the Hammers currently “locked in talks” with Torino, according to Claret and Hugh.
Torino Granata [1 December] suggest the Serie A club are trying to get the Hammers to lower their current valuation of the Croatian winger.
Claret and Hugh suggest (6 December) West Ham want around £12.7million for the 25-year-old and that a deal could now be close to being finalised.

It’s understood the two clubs are close to agreeing on a fee for the winger, who now looks almost certain to depart the London Stadium.
Get him gone
The Hammers should take whatever they can for Vlasic, with the attacker failing to make any sort of impact during his spell at the London Stadium.
Torino clearly rate the Croatian and he’s enjoyed a good start to the season in Italy, but realistically he’s nowhere near the level required to be a competent Premier League player. If and when he does depart it could allow for the Hammers to add another attacking player to their ranks.

Moyes was eager to add another attacking midfielder towards the end of the transfer window, and if he can in January, it could well allow him to deploy Lucas Paqueta in a deeper lying position, where he has excelled on the international stage for Brazil.
The Vlasic saga is one for the Hammers to draw a line under and accept that it hasn’t worked out. His previous form at Everton should have been a red flag for the Hammers. It’s a mistake they shouldn’t make again.
