Newcastle could look to sign West Ham United star Lukasz Fabianski
Newcastle United could look to sign West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski in the upcoming January transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper has reported in its print edition [December 5, pg 51] that the Magpies could look to the Pole after a crushing injury to their number one, Nick Pope.
Martin Dubravka is set for another chance in the meantime at St James’ Park, with David De Gea another option after still not finding a new club this season since leaving Manchester United.

No chance.
West Ham are not in a position to start letting valuable squad members leave, especially in the January window to a direct rival in the Premier League.
Just because there is somewhat of a crisis at St James’ Park, it doesn’t mean that David Moyes should just roll out the red carpet for the rich club.
Despite being a veteran at the London Stadium with a rolling contract each year, it would still likely take very big money to change the mind of anyone.

Alphonse Areola is the number one and has bided his time to earn that right, and Fabianski certainly isn’t the type to throw his toys out of the pram because of that.
With the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Europa League ongoing, there are still plenty of opportunities for the solid stopper to leave his mark on the club even further.
This is surely a non-starter.
