Neil Moxley wowed by ‘eye-catching’ Jarrod Bowen, West Ham United star named as hot this week
West Ham United attacker Jarrod Bowen has been listed by Neil Moxley in his “hot this week” section for the Sunday People.
The “eye-catching” winger is making the headlines for his actions both during and outside of his club’s matches.
Bowen has been praised for his actions before kick-off in the match against Liverpool on Wednesday (26 April).

Writing about “who’s hot this week” for the Sunday People (Page 55, 30 April), Moxley said of Bowen: “He’s in eye-catching form anyway but his decision to wear ear defenders while escorting a young mascot doing the same onto the Olympic Stadium pitch before the Liverpool game deserves a ‘well done.’”

Hammers star
Bowen definitely deserves huge praise for his actions before the match against the Reds, with the attacker showing all his class by helping the young mascot feel at home.
It’s an era where many players don’t often care about the little things, but the West Ham ace showed he is not above the general public with the lovely gesture.
On the pitch, he also showed his class, but was unfortunate to see his well-taken goal chalked off against Jurgen Klopp’s men due to an offside in the buildup.
He may not be hitting the heights he reached last season, but Bowen remains one of his club’s most important players, with David Moyes heavily relying on the winger for that much-needed creative spark in the final third.
His meteoric rise from the lower leagues of English football will undoubtedly inspire others to make a similar journey, with the Hammers star by no means finished in his quest for success in the top flight.
