Nayef Aguerd teammate Instagram post drops big hint on future amid West Ham United speculation

Nayef Aguerd’s Rennes teammate Martin Terrier’s latest Instagram post could’ve potentially confirmed the defender’s move to the West Ham.

The Evening Standard reported on Tuesday [31 May] that West Ham have become increasingly confident of securing a deal for the Moroccon born centre half.

Furthermore, the 26-year-old’s teammate Terrier posted an Instagram post which seemed to confirm that Aguerd is leaving the club.

Terrier wrote: “The picture speaks for itself.”

Aguerd replied: “You already know everything.”

There seems a good chance this is a goodbye post from his teammate with a move to the London Stadium edging ever closer for the centre half.

The defender will be an excellent addition for David Moyes as he looks to rebuild his squad over the summer after narrowly missing out on Europa League qualification this season.

Moyes has previously been very astute in the transfer market, so it won’t be a surprise to see some of his summer additions go on to become successes at the London Stadium.

The Irons conceded too many sloppy goals towards the end of the season and it was a priority for Moyes to add quality and depth to his back line.

The Hammers rarely struggled for goals this year, so it is wise of Moyes to begin by bolstering his depleted back line.

It is crucial that West Ham have a busy transfer window this summer with the Irons looking to become consistent top-six contenders.

Moyes will be looking to add a much-needed striker to his group as well as further depth in midfield in the coming weeks.
