Napoli want West Ham to increase offer for Piotr Zielinski
Napoli want West Ham United to increase their offer for midfielder Piotr Zielinski, according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
The Hammers are in the market to sign players to strengthen their midfield after the departures of Mark Noble and Alex Kral.
There have been recent reports suggesting that the Irons are keen on making a move for the Poland international in the ongoing transfer window.
However, as per Pedulla, the Serie A side are demanding £30million plus bonuses to let the player leave whereas West Ham are only willing to offer £21million right now.
Complete midfielder
West Ham are going through an impressive transfer window where they’ve already made some notable signings and are on the verge of completing another important coup.
One of the reasons which halted the Hammers’ progress last time around, especially at the backend of the season where a top-six finish was a reality because of poor results of Manchester United, was the lack of leaders within the squad when injuries started to take effect.
Therefore, it is evidently clear that the Irons need inspiration and leaders on the pitch and Zielinski can be that one character in the middle of the park.

If we talk in footballing terms, Zielinski plays as a defensive midfielder. However, he can also play in a pivot.
He is one of those midfielders who don’t just control things when he has the ball. It seems like he actually controls everything that is happening around him.
Those qualities will make him an ideal fit for West Ham and therefore, signing him might well prove to be a masterstroke.
