Moyes to look at other options before sanctioning West Ham move for Gabigol
West Ham are currently the most advanced in their talks with Flamengo ace Gabriel Barbosa over a January transfer move, according to 90min.
Gabigol is also wanted by Chelsea, Aston Villa and Wolves, with Newcastle and the Hammers both in front of the queue for the Brazilian international striker, 25.
However, West Ham boss David Moyes would like to look at other options before sanctioning a move for the South American.

On the other hand, Newcastle are considering an initial loan move, with a permanent move set to cost £30million, and Gabigol is said to be willing to join them despite their relegation battle.
Risky?
Moyes takes his time before making a decision on his transfers, but could waiting for other options before considering the Brazilian cost the Hammers?
While Gabigol flopped in his first stint in Europe – with Inter Milan – he is ready to return and attempt to prove himself.
He has bagged 103 goals in 145 games for Flamengo, and while the quality of the Brazilian top-flight cannot be compared with the Premier League, it is evident that he knows how to find the back of the net.
Michail Antonio remains first-choice at the London Stadium, but the 31-year-old needs quality competition and a long-term successor, and Gabigol can be one.

He has been linked with West Ham for ages, and taking a punt on him this month by signing him on loan could make sense.
The Irons need to bolster their attacking ranks for the second half of 2021-22, and a proven hitman in the mould of the former Inter man could be a boost to their top-four chances.
