Mohammed Kudus will go ‘above and beyond’ West Ham United – Dean Jones
Dean Jones has tipped West Ham star Mohammed Kudus to go above and beyond anything we have seen before at the London Stadium in the second half of the season.
The former Eurosport journalist claimed that, despite being eased into the team and given time to find his feet in English football, Kudus could explode in East London.
Jones suggested it had always been the plan for David Moyes to ease him into the first team slowly to determine which role in his side best suited the Ghanaian.

Jones was speaking to GIVEMESPORT on 15 November when he shared: “West Ham are now getting to show what they’ve [Manchester United] missed out on. I know he hasn’t started regularly, but as I said at the start of the season, that was always the plan.
“They would give Kudus time to find his feet in English football and determine which role best fits him. In the second half of this season, I think we’ll see a version of this player that is above and beyond anything we’ve seen.
“I think that he’s going to be a fantastic signing.”
High praise
It has been a staggered start to Kudus’ career at the London Stadium, but there is no doubting when he has played, he has impressed. Five goals in his first 15 appearances in all competitions, with most of them being as a substitute, is an excellent return.
If, as Jones suggests, the plan was always to ease him in slowly to better figure out the best way to integrate his role into the team, then Moyes and West Ham have managed it perfectly, and he now looks ready to be unleashed.

It would take some doing to outperform some of the Hammers heroes of the past or even the likes of Declan Rice who dominated the midfield at the London Stadium before moving on to Arsenal in a British record transfer deal.
However, there is no doubting Kudus possesses the quality to stamp his authority on this side, and the plaudits he has drawn already despite starting just three Premier League games so far is a testament to the level at which he is playing under Moyes.
