Micah Richards drools over ‘wonderful’ MOTD footage of Mohammed Kudus in West Ham United win v Man United

Micah Richards was wowed by what Mohammed Kudus did in the West Ham victory over Manchester United on Saturday (23 December).

Speaking on Match of the Day on Saturday (01:02:09), the pundit said it was a “wonderful” finish from the 23-year-old forward as he found the back of the net with a right-footed effort that proved too powerful for the Red Devils keeper Andre Onana.

He added that it was “brilliant” to watch the Ghanaian international link up with fellow attackers Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta as they helped the Hammers pick up a 2-0 win at the London Stadium.

“Then Paqueta to Kudus, lovely composure and a wonderful finish,” said Richards. “It was brilliant to watch how they interchange, how they know their positions, how Ward-Prowse and the midfielders were taken away. And if you look at that, 19 goals between the front three.”

Quality

There is so much quality in that West Ham front three as Kudus, Bowen and Paqueta are really starting to work together and feed off each other.

The latter was pulling the strings once again for the Hammers, setting up both goals as they went on to secure an excellent three points against Man United, taking them up to sixth in the Premier League table.

It was a superb finish from Kudus as he once again showed great composure in front of goal, with his low effort on his weaker right foot finding the bottom corner to ensure it was a comfortable end to the game.

The Ghanaian has now scored six Premier League goals for the campaign and three of those strikes have come in his past two league outings.

David Moyes will be delighted with the progress the forward is making and he’ll be looking for him to continue making an impact as we look to finish as high up in the table as possible this season.

In other West Ham news, Ally McCoist was wowed by what one “brilliant” Hammers player did against Man United.
