Metallica at the London Stadium: Ticket details, start times, event information
The London Stadium has been utilised to host some of the world’s largest acts since West Ham United became its residents.
Beyoncé, the Rolling Stones and Taylor Swift are among the headline names to play the home of the 2012 London Olympics.
Last week, British metal legends Iron Maiden graced the London Stadium stage amid an intense heatwave that swept the capital.
Now, fellow metal icons Metallica have announced that their M72 World Tour will come to East London in 2026, and West Ham Zone has provided all the information you need for the events.

It was recently announced that West Ham have extended their sponsorship agreement with US payments partner Corpay Cross-Border Solutions.
The deal has already run for seven years and will further benefit the Hammers financially over the coming years.
With that in place, Metallica have announced that they will be performing at the London Stadium on Friday, 3 July and Sunday, 5 July 2026.
Support for the first show will come from Gojira and Knocked Loose, while Pantera and Avatar will play the second date.
Two-day tickets for the events start at £120 per person and can be bought here, while those looking for a VIP experience can buy premium tickets and hospitality packages from £249 here.
The M72 World Tour 2026 will continue the No Repeat Weekend tradition, with each night of the London Stadium shows featuring entirely different setlists and support lineups.
A portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to local charities via the band’s All Within My Hands foundation.
Timings of the events are yet to be announced, but further information will be confirmed nearer the shows.
A range of tickets available for Metallica events
As well as general sale and VIP experiences, Metallica fans have a range of options to choose from when purchasing tickets.
Those who wish to see the American band over two nights can purchase two-day tickets and are guaranteed not to see the same song played twice.
Single-day tickets will be available from 25 July 2025, although prices are yet to be announced for either show.
