Mark Noble shares David Moyes sack verdict at West Ham United as ‘madness’ claim made
Mark Noble believes West Ham can “start looking forward” after David Moyes got the club “out of trouble” in recent weeks.
The Hammers have climbed the Premier League standings with some favourable results after being heavily involved in the relegation battle.
While their safety has not been secured, the 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday (7 May) means they are seven points from the drop zone.

“No one has hidden from it,” said Noble, as quoted by BBC Sport. “The manager has been clear. The Premier League is a demanding league and for a long time we have been in a relegation battle.
“He knows the game as well as anyone. He knows the pressure he was under. Fourteen managers have been changed this year in the Premier League. It is madness.
“We stuck with David and it looks like he has got us out of trouble and we are in a European semi-final, which is fantastic. We can start looking forward now.”

Moyes deserves credit
While the Hammers remain in danger of dropping into the relegation zone, the threat level has been reduced thanks to the hard-fought win against the Red Devils.
The East London outfit will have breathed a massive sigh of relief after the three points saw them climb to 15th in the table and further away from the bottom three.
Moyes will have not only been delighted with the victory, but also given how it came against his former club, with that added bonus certain to have put an extra spring in his step the next day.
It remains uncertain whether or not the Scot will be in the West Ham dugout next season, but he deserves immense credit for helping guide the club towards safety given how much pressure he was under not so long ago.
That credit will, of course, be extended should the Hammers go on to clinch the Europa Conference League trophy.
